The Sacred Document from the Michif

The Sacred Document is currently being negotiated under the direction of the MN–S Minister of Justice.

This legal process requires that the document remain confidential until it is made public by Métis Nation–Saskatchewan and Canada. As soon as this is complete, a draft document of the treaty, as well as a plain language translation, will be posted here.

We strongly encourage all MN–S citizens aged 16 and older to read the draft and attend community engagements throughout the fall to learn more and share your input on the document.
